Rockdale County Special Olympics

Rockdale County Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic-type summer and winter sports for children and adults with mental retardation.  These citizens will have opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship. We also provide certified coaches, volunteers, and training programs for all athletes in the Special Olympics programs and the opportunity for all athletes to train and compete in local, area, state, and international competition.
